Every rig you set up lives in one account. We email you a link — no password to remember.

No password — we email you a link that signs you in. It comes from CrowdRig via Supabase Auth; check spam the first time.

Set up a rig earlier with a console link? Open that link — it still works, and signing in afterwards adds the rig to your account.

Welcome

Name your first rig

A rig is one show: its overlay, crowd page and rules. You can add more later.

You're using a console link. Sign in by email once and this rig joins your account — reachable from any device, no link to lose.

The overlay plays the queue in order.

Queue

Needs your OK

Open requests wait here. Add a YouTube link if it's missing, then approve. Anything still waiting after a day is declined for you and refunded.

Shoutouts — viewers paid points to put these on stream. Declining refunds them.

Poll

Fire an effect

Same effects the crowd has, no cooldown for you.

Say it on stream

A short toast on the overlay — the same spot chat replies land. Nothing is posted into chat.

Songs

Add songs

Paste YouTube links, one per line. Titles are read automatically; fix them after if needed. Anything on YouTube Music works.

Your effects

The crowd fires these from the room page or with !confetti. Click one to change its colors, how much, how long — and test it on your overlay. Cooldowns keep it from becoming noise.

Add an effect

Crowd plan

Confetti, airhorn and applause come with every rig. Fireworks, snow, balloons, sparkles, hearts, lasers, emoji rain, your own images and sounds come with Crowd and up.

New effect

Past polls

The stream listener (Chrome extension) only counts your own stream: the seller on the page has to match this username. Leave it blank and it fills in from the first report.

Banned words

Anything the crowd can put on your stream — messages, request titles, usernames — is checked against CrowdRig's built-in list (slurs, sexual and violent terms, common disguises like sh1t or f u c k) plus your own words below. The built-in list is always on.

Test a phrase

OBS overlay

One browser source does it all. Pick the canvas that matches your stream, then paste the URL into OBS.

These switches live in the URL, so two scenes can use different mixes (a vertical one without the video, say). Positions and sizes are saved on the rig, below.

If the URL leaks, reset it and paste the new one into OBS.

Layout

saved on the rig · every overlay URL

Start from a preset for your platform, then move things. Vertical canvases stack the cards from the top (or the middle); horizontal ones place each card where you say.

LookRig plan

Preview with sample content, updated as you change things. Colors and sizes apply on the real overlay within a few seconds of saving.

Stream listener

not linked

Points come from the stream itself: the CrowdRig Chrome extension sits on your Whatnot live page and reports who is chatting, joining and buying — by exact username — once a minute. No viewer has to keep a page open, and nobody can farm points without being on your stream. It only reads; it never posts.

  1. Install the extension in the Chrome you use for your stream.
  2. Click its icon → Get a code.
  3. Type the code here and click Link.

Room page

Viewers join your room here with their exact username; you approve them on the Crowd tab. Put the link and the join code in your bio, a panel or a pinned message.

Crowd plan

Optional. The overlay already plays requests through YouTube. If you'd rather use your own Premium account, run the bridge on your streaming PC — easiest inside CrowdRig Desktop, or the bare bridge (zip) with Node 18+. Requests play in your music app at the end of the current song, and your queue comes back afterwards.

  1. Start the bridge. It shows a 6-digit code.
  2. Type the code here and click Link.

Twitch chat commands: start it with --chat=twitch:yourchannel and viewers can type !request, !vote 2 or !confetti in Twitch chat. It only listens — no bot account, and CrowdRig never posts in your chat. Replies show as a toast on your overlay.

CrowdRig Desktop

A small app for the streaming PC: your console in its own window, one-click OBS browser source, the music bridge built in. Windows, macOS and Linux. Download it, open it, click Get a code, and type the code here.

Linking gives the app a fresh console link for this rig; any console link you saved earlier stops working (you stay signed in here).

Waiting to get in

Each person signed up with their exact platform username. Check it against your chat, then approve. Approved members get the welcome points plus anything they earned in your chat before they had an account.

Members

Removed

In your chat, no account yet

Usernames the listener saw taking part. Their points wait under the username and move over the moment they sign up and you approve them.

Most active

Requests count 3, effects 2, votes 1. Names are members' platform usernames — the same ones you approved.

Points

Members earn points for what they do on your stream — chatting, buying, showing up, voting — as seen by the stream listener (Chrome extension) on your live page, and spend them on requests, effects and shoutouts. Nothing for you to log; skipped or declined things refund themselves. Points can't be bought, and keeping the room page open earns nothing by itself.

Boost off

Crowd plan

Multiplies everything viewers earn for a while — raids, milestones, the last half hour. The overlay and the crowd page both show it.

Gives points to every member seen on the stream in the last 10 minutes and shows a toast on the overlay. Use it for raids, hype moments, or a thank-you at the end.

Last 24 hours

Rates & prices

Crowd plan

Per-effect prices live on the Effects tab. Defaults are tuned so an hour on the stream buys a request or two: 10 per 5 active minutes, 5 per chat message (max 30 per 10 min), 50 per purchase, 50 for showing up, 150 welcome.

Rigs

Each rig is its own overlay, crowd page and rules — a second show, a co-host, a test rig. Signed in, every rig in your account is one click away.

Plans

Viewers are never blocked. If your crowd outgrows a plan you get a 14-day heads-up in the console; after that some host features step down a tier until you upgrade. Change or cancel any time.
