CrowdRig for Whatnot

Points from the stream itself.

A small Chrome extension that sits on your own Whatnot live page and tells CrowdRig who is taking part — chatting, joining, buying — by their exact username. That is what earns viewers points, so nobody has to keep a web page open, and nobody can farm points without actually being on your stream. It only reads; it never posts in chat.

Install (2 minutes)

  1. Download the extension (zip) and unzip it somewhere it can stay.
  2. In Chrome open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top right), click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped crowdrig-extension folder.
  3. Click the CrowdRig icon in the toolbar → Get a code. In your console, Setup tab → Stream listener, type the code and click Link.
  4. Open your Whatnot live page in that Chrome (the page you host from, or your stream open in a tab while you go live from the app). The icon shows a green dot while it is reporting.

What it sends

Once a minute: the usernames seen in your chat in the last 15 minutes, how many messages each sent, purchases it spotted, whether the stream is live and how many are watching. Nothing else leaves your PC — no message text (except !commands aimed at CrowdRig), no viewer emails, no account data.

It reports only your own stream: the seller on the page has to match the Whatnot username saved in your console (Rules tab). Someone else's stream is ignored.

Chrome only, on your PC. It survives Chrome restarts; an update means unzipping the new version over the old folder and clicking the refresh icon on chrome://extensions.

Twitch, Kick, YouTube

The same extension watches chat on those live pages too (open your own channel page). Twitch hosts on Crowd and up can also let the desktop bridge read chat without a browser tab.
